Welcome to Mount Mee Coffee

The property was purchased in 2003 by Leslie and Dawn Juds with the aim of establishing an organic coffee plantation. We are at Mount Mee on the D'Aguilar range, South East Queensland at an elevation of 500 metres. The climate is suitable for growing coffee as we have rich volcanic soil and good rainfall. Our 100% Arabica coffee is Condong Range Bourbon which is more wind tolerant than some other varieties. We hand harvest, pulp and wash then sun dry to make sure we retain the full quality of our beans. We use best organic practices growing our coffee, we use prescription organic blends from Nutritech at Yandina to amend our soil and organic fertilizers and compost teas as needed. As there are no pests in Australian coffee we do not spray with pesticides.

We have a Diedrich roaster on the farm and Leslie roasts coffee to order. Our coffee when roasted has a sweet rich chocolately flavour and aroma. Try our coffee I am sure you will be delighted with the experience.
